  • Dell releases Axim x50/x50v WM5 ROM update!!!

I honestly never thought this day would come! I can't believe it, but Dell actually released a ROM update for the x50/x50v Pocket PCs. If you read my old blog, you have some idea how frustrated I've been with Dell for the past... say... YEAR over the completely worthless $40 upgrade to WM5 they...

  • Verizon releasing black Motorola Q on Dec. 12?

Sony's entry into the UMPC market is spectacular, in my opinion. The UX280P features a bright 1024x600 4.5" touchscreen display, 1.2GHz Core Solo processor w/ Centrino chipset, WiFi 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth, a slide-out keyboard, 1GB RAM, 40GB hard drive (although it's only spinning at 4200...

  • Now it's legal to unlock your cellphone!

Engadget reported yesterday that a ruling has been issued making it legal to unlock your cellphone. This is great news if you're jumping carriers and have a phone that's compatible with the new carrier. Hopefully we'll start to see a much better unlocked cell phone market on eBay and Craigslist in the...
