Hypermiling report
After
reading the hypermiling guide, I finished my last tank at 503.9 miles and 48.2 mpg. Not bad considering I was well into the tank when I started. On my next tank, I'm already 110 miles into it and am hovering around 54.4 mpg currently! On the way home from the gas station, about 15 miles, I averaged 68 mpg. It's those quick trips to the grocery store and back that kill your efficiency though - especially in the morning when the car is cold and auto-stop doesn't work until you're on your trip home.
